I can completely relate to Gianna Manzi’s story, as my first dog, Steinway, died at sixteen years old when I was only in first grade. Personally, this was an extremely difficult time for me, as my dog was one of the most important parts of my life, and it took a long time for my family and I to recover from Steinway’s passing.
