I really like how you used a surfing story to tell your message of determination and persistence. I think that this was such an effective way to illustrate how a person should keep pushing forward, despite the challenges.

I agree with Sophia’s belief that determination is the key to success; for everything I do, school, dance, the play, I have always worked hard and pushed myself to accomplish as much as possible. It is important even as a teenager to push oneself to be the best one can possible be, so I can understand the way in which Sophia pressed on persistently to ride the waves and not give up.
